Omelettes with Biltong.
Quick, Easy, Healthy and most importantly Delicious!, These Omelettes are all prepared in under 15 minutes.. There’s no right or wrong way to make an Omelette, but, the combination of ingredients can transform lunch from average to out-of-this-world!
The Omelette recipe is pretty straight forward but we have specially selected the ingredients to compliment that Biltong flavour
The measurements used are for one person but can all be easily scaled to feed the whole family, just multiply by the amount of guests!
Serve for Breakfast with Freshly squeezed Orange Juice.
Prep Time – 10 Minutes
Cooking Time – 7-10 Minutes
Serves – 1
30g Edam (Grated)
30g Gouda (Grated)
30-50g Haynestown Irish Biltong
20g Tomatoes (Chopped)
Splash of Milk
Salt & Pepper
In a jug beat the Eggs and the Milk before adding the Tomatoes. Mix lightly and add Salt and Pepper to taste.
Heat a tsp of Olive Oil in a Heavy Frying Pan, add the Mixture and cook on a High Heat for 2-3 minutes until the middle starts to become firm. Sprinkle the Edam, Gouda and Biltong over the Omelette and gently fold in half. Reduce the heat slightly and cook for a further 2-3 minutes until the cheese starts to melt.
